While a standard safety check confirms your cooker isn't leaking, a Full Service ensures it’s actually working at its best. Over time, grease, dust, and carbon buildup can block injectors and affect the flame quality, leading to uneven cooking or even dangerous carbon monoxide levels.
What’s included in a WTS Cooker Service:
Full Visual Inspection: Checking the overall condition, stability, and secure pipework connections.
Burner & Injector Cleaning: Removing debris from hob and oven burners to ensure a clean, blue flame and even heat distribution.
Safety Device Testing: Verifying that your Flame Supervision Devices (FSD) are working correctly—cutting the gas immediately if the flame goes out.
Ventilation & Seal Checks: Ensuring the kitchen has adequate airflow and that oven door seals are intact to prevent heat loss.
Tightness Test: A full check of your gas system to ensure there are zero leaks.
Pricing & Bundles
Standalone Cooker Service: £80 +VAT
Multi-Appliance Discount: Only £65 +VAT when booked alongside a Boiler Service, Fire Service, Unvented cylinder service or EICR.
One Call, One Call-Out: Don't pay twice for travel. If I'm already at your property for an annual boiler service or an electrical inspection, I can service your cooker at the same time for a significantly reduced rate.
